Pastor Dre

Hello Family, how are you? It is your boy Pastor Dre and today I would like to show you some tips and techniques on How To Grow Your Church Online.

I have been working with websites for over 20 years now and I started back in 1998. I remember the first website building software that I had was called FrontPage 98.

Well times have changed and making websites has gotten so much easier than when I first started. One of the best ways to grow your churches online presence is to build a website for your church.

The mistake that I see a lot of churches making is they promote their services on social media, such as tune in this Sunday to our live broadcast on such and such platform, when they should be promoting their live webcast which can be viewed on their website.

There are several benefits to promoting your website rather then sending people to social media. I will just name a few and I hope this encourages you to promote you live webcast on your churches website rather than on social media.

Also if you don't have a church website I have a step-by-step tutorial that teaches you how to build a nice 6 page website for your church from scratch for free.

Here are a few things you can do to boost your churches online presence.

Start a website for your Church

The first thing you want to do is get a website for your church. Even if you start of with a free website and host it on a sub domain, it is better than not having a website at all.

Your website is like your church building online. If you don't have a building how are people going to find you. There are many benefits to having a website.

You can have a giving page

You can have a blog page

You can have a contact us page

You can have a Podcast page

None of these are possible on social media. I like to look at it like this social media is rented property, but a website it property that you won.

Start a blog for your Church

Then next thing you want to do is start a blog for your church. I see this is one of the main things that churhces forget to do when they set up their website

Having a website is great, but when you add a blog to it, it gives you so much more ranking power in the google search engines.

What I mean by ranking power is google will list your churches higher in its search engine when people are searching for certain keywords.

Example: If I am looking for a church and I type in google ” Find a church near me.” If I write a blog that is optimized for that particular then I have a really good chance of my church showing up in the listing for that keyword.

Many churches miss out on getting their website to rank higher in google because they don't have a blog.

Optimize your blog for search engines

The next thing you want to do is learn SEO. SEO is short for Search Engine Optimization. Now it might sound like a very hard thing to learn, but SEO is not that difficult.

I actually have a free SEO class that will teach you the basic steps of SEO. Click here if you would like to enroll for FREE. If you apply the steps that I teach in this class, then you are already ahead of a lot people out there that are building websites.

Start a live webcast from your churches website

Another thing you can do to boost your churches online presence is to start a youtube channel. There are a lot of benefits to starting a youtube channel.

One of the main benefits is you can use YouTube to broadcast your services live and you can do this for FREE.

Having a YouTube channel also allows you to embed videos on your website and in your blog post. Having a video in your blog post is very helpful for SEO. Once again what does SEO do, it helps you to rank higher in the google search engine.

Conclusion

Well these are just a few things that you can do to help you grow your church online and boost the online presence of your church.
